The Plant Ticket training is designed to help you get a plant operator licence for operating a range of earthmoving equipment.

Obtaining a Plant Ticket is essential in several trade industries and provides workers with the knowledge for using and maintaining machinery while also enhancing your skills giving you an improved work performance.

For those who want to learn to operate earth moving equipment, this is the right place to train and jumpstart a career in the civil construction industry. We suggest completing at least 2x Heavy Machinery Tickets to break into the industry.

Job roles containing heavy machinery require candidates to pursue these courses, and obtaining your ticket will make you job-ready, giving you an advantage over other job seekers.

| Upper hand towards Better Compensation |

Formal training increases nationally accredited units competency that certifies participants to operate a wider range of machines. Having one or two tickets expands your competency and gives you the upper hand in negotiating for better compensation.

CSQ FUNDING is available!

CSQ provides funding for training current workers and career seekers in the building and construction industry. The courses are not free, but CSQ will help to fund the costs with an aim to cover 75% of the total cost of Short Courses, Higher Qualifications, and Skills Assessment and Gap Training (SAGT).

Construction Skills Queensland is an independent, not-for-profit, industry-funded body which supports workers, apprentices, trainees, employers, and career seekers in the building and construction industry.

This is done by:

• subsidising training for tradies, workers and small and large businesses to help them build their careers and capability
• promoting careers in construction and supporting pathways into the industry
• working with industry partners to help keep talented people in the industry
• providing thought leadership to the industry around skills, training, industry trends, major projects, and employment data.

What are the Eligibility requirements and how do i apply?

Eligibility is based on 2 areas:

Your right to work in Australia and Permanently working in QLD within the building and construction industry.

You will need to provide evidence of this either by submitting an employment letter OR Qleave statement.

To apply for funding you will need to fill out a CSQ eligiblity form - the application will depend on which training you are seeking.
